Wasn’t sure what to expect when I opened the box. It looked similar to a couple crappy knives I had when I was a kid.
It wasn’t, the fit and finish was very nice, good looking wood for the grips, but no idea what type of metal is used for the blade. The spring assist has plenty of power for reliable opening, and the liner lock is easy enough for one handed closing.
Considering it’s a fairly inexpensive knife, and it’s more of a stabbing knife, and it has a sharp point, there wasn’t much of an edge on it.
I did sharpen it, and have been carrying it ever day for a while now, have been using it for everything from opening Amazon packages, and cutting up my lunch, to cutting fishing line, and it has been holding an edge pretty well so far.
I only gave it four stars based on the lack of a sharp edge, but still a pretty nice knife.
