Smaller then I thought it would be. Not as durable either. But the case is came and it's nice. This would be ideal for gardening.

I have hard ground that you have to water to dig a hole. I let my son go out while I supervised and he loved it, it dug easily for it being so small it's a great shovel to have in your survival kit.
