When Iron Sights Take Too Long and Your Target Won't Wait—Both Eyes Open, Instant Acquisition
The Reflex Sight That Gets You On Target Instantly—Without the $400 Price Tag
Ready to Stop Fumbling With Iron Sights When Your Family Needs You Fast?
Both-Eyes-Open Target Acquisition
Reflex design that lets you keep both eyes open while aiming, maintaining full peripheral vision and depth perception instead of closing one eye and losing half your situational awareness, so when you're identifying threats in your home or tracking targets at the range, you see everything instead of tunnel-visioning through one eye.
20mm Wide Lens for Fast Finding
Large window that makes target acquisition faster than smaller optics by giving you more viewing area to locate the dot instantly, so you're not hunting for a tiny reticle in a tiny window when adrenaline is pumping—just look through the glass, find the dot immediately, and engage.
Holds Zero Through Real Recoil
Shockproof aluminum construction with internal components designed to survive repeated firing without losing accuracy, so once you zero it at the range, it stays zeroed through training, home defense readiness, and actual use—not constant re-adjustment like cheap optics that drift after fifty rounds.
Quick-Mount Rail System
Tool-free or minimal-tool installation on standard Picatinny/Weaver rails that gets you mounted and zeroing in minutes instead of paying a gunsmith or struggling with complicated mounting systems, so you're shooting the same day you install it instead of the same week.
Mount It. Zero It. Trust It When Seconds Decide Everything.

-
Target acquisition is lightning fast
Mounted this on my home defense AR and the difference is incredible. Both eyes open, instant dot on target—way faster than iron sights in low light. This is staying on permanently.
-
Holds zero through 500 rounds
Zeroed at 25 yards and put 500 rounds through my rifle over two months. Checked zero again and it's still dead-on accurate. For the price, the durability is impressive.
-
Better than my $300 Vortex? No. Good enough? Absolutely.
I own a Vortex Strikefire on my main rifle and this SharpSight on my backup. The Vortex is better, but this one performs 85% as well for a fraction of the cost. Smart budget choice.
-
Easy to zero in 20 rounds
First time mounting an optic and I had it zeroed in about 20 minutes. The adjustment system is simple and the instructions are clear. No gunsmith needed.
-
Both-eyes-open changed everything
I've shot iron sights for 20 years closing my left eye. Both eyes open with this reflex sight improved my speed and awareness dramatically. Wish I'd made this upgrade years ago.
-
Wide lens makes finding the dot easy
The 20mm lens is noticeably larger than cheap mini red dots. Finding the aiming point is instant even under stress. That extra viewing area makes a real difference in speed.
-
Brightness settings handle all conditions
I've used this in bright daylight, dusk, and indoor low light. The adjustable brightness lets me see the dot clearly in every situation. Versatile optic that adapts to conditions.
-
Shotgun home defense upgrade
Mounted this on my 12-gauge and it's transformed my defensive setup. Fast target acquisition with buckshot at home defense distances. Holds zero through heavy recoil without issues.
-
Best $47 I've spent on upgrades
Upgraded from iron sights and my range times improved immediately. Target transitions are faster and accuracy is better. For the money, this is the smartest defensive upgrade available.
FAQs
What's the difference between this and expensive red dots like Aimpoint or Trijicon?
Premium optics offer features like multi-year battery life, military torture-test durability, and clearer glass. For professionals who depend on their optic in combat or duty use daily, those features justify the cost. For home defense, range training, and civilian use where you're not jumping out of helicopters or crawling through mud regularly, this reflex sight delivers the core functionality—fast target acquisition and reliable zero—at a fraction of the price. You're getting 85% of the performance for 20% of the cost.
Will this hold zero on a shotgun or high-recoil rifle?
This optic is designed for standard rifle and carbine recoil (5.56, 7.62x39, .308, etc.). It will handle 12-gauge shotgun recoil and standard hunting calibers with proper mounting. Extreme magnums or heavy slug loads may affect zero over time. For defensive shotguns and AR-platform rifles, it's fine. If you're shooting .338 Lapua or .50 BMG regularly, invest in an optic specifically rated for extreme recoil.
How long does the battery last and what happens when it dies?
Battery life varies by brightness setting—typically hundreds of hours on medium settings. Higher brightness drains faster, lower settings extend life. When the battery dies, the optic stops working—there's no backup. This is why you should: 1) Check battery monthly, 2) Replace annually regardless of use, 3) Mount at co-witness height so iron sights remain visible through the optic window as backup. Always have a plan B.
How hard is it to zero? Do I need special tools?
Zeroing is straightforward: mount the optic, shoot a group at 25 yards, then adjust windage and elevation using the included Allen key (or tool-free adjustments if equipped) until your point of aim matches point of impact. Takes 20-30 rounds to dial in properly. If you can sight in iron sights or a scope, you can zero this. Full instructions included. No gunsmith required for basic zeroing.
Will this work in low light or is it only for daytime?
The adjustable brightness settings allow you to use this in any lighting condition—from bright daylight (high brightness so the dot is visible against bright backgrounds) to low light/darkness (low brightness so the dot doesn't bloom and wash out your night vision). For complete darkness with no ambient light, you'd need night vision or weapon-mounted light. But for dawn, dusk, indoor, and most real-world conditions, adjustable brightness handles it.
